Martin's Orangerie is located right on the most picturesque canal of medieval Bruges in the very heart of the city centre. This small C. XV Monastery of the Sisters Karthuizerinnen , has been converted to a wonderful "boutique" hotel, furnished with exclusive fabrics, antiques and objets d'art, all brought together by the lady of the house, who is an antiques dealer and interior decorator. In the elegant lounge along the canal, guests can relax by the open fire, in comfortable sofas while going through the available art books and international magazines and enjoying a drink which is served round the clock. The winter garden lounge with its views on the “trompe l’oeil” Italian gardens is a haven of rest and tranquillity in fresh white and light-grayish colors. It is recommended to enjoy the typical English “Afternoon Tea” or an aperitif on the terrace the dining room alongside the water, where the small boats leave every 15 minutes for a trip on the canal. Our first encounter with this mansion enchanted us and so one day the charming "Hotel de Orangerie" was born. Ageless passion, fabulous destiny! Today the Orangerie, symbol of Bruges' hospitality and fine living, reflects our happiness after a successful adventure. Being with us means living at the heart of Flanders' most picturesque city. All of Bruges, is within easy reach, you are plunged into culture beyond comparison and into the warmest atmospheres. A copious breakfast is served in the dining room near a sparkling fireplace in winter or on the terrace alongside the canal in summer. Food & Beverage

It is recommended to enjoy the typical English “Afteroon Tea” or an aperitif on the terrace of the dining room alongside the water, where the small boats leave every 15 minutes for a trip on the canal. In the morning a delicious buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room with canal-view and eggs are prepared according to the guests'. In 2003 The Orangerie –breakfast was elected of the best breakfast in Belgium.
